Veteran’s Day is coming up on November 11th. Here are a few opportunities to honor all those who have served in the community. Honoring our veterans is very important to me. Many of you know about the Veterans Memorial Project I did working alongside our City Parks, Recreation, and Cemetery Department. I worked to verify their location and document their condition which led to grant money to fixing these veterans’ graves. I have also reached out to Wreaths Across America to do a Wreath-Laying Ceremony this December 14th at our City Cemetery. Please consider sponsoring a wreath for a veteran whose final resting place is our City Cemetery.
